  1. Bobbi Sue,
Great start to you final paper. You have clearly expressed how you have felt throughout the course. A few points that I would expand on or highlight more for your final paper include:

-Highlight your most viewed and commented on post and explain why you think that was so successful
-What areas would you like to improve on in social media interaction, professionally?
-What strategies and tactics did you use that were successful and not so successful?

All of these things will help in your analysis of your work these past few weeks. Nice work and keep your answers concise. You have done a great job of this so far, so don't lose that when adding in more analysis.

    1. Hey Becky! Thanks for reviewing my storify. You bring up a great point. I did share the posts that have the most views and comments but I didn't indicate that in their introductions. So, I'll go back in and add that information before submitting the final paper.

Also, great suggestions for tying everything back to my career and professional application.
      Thanks again!

  2. Hi Bobbi Sue,

I enjoyed reading your blog which outlined your experience integrating all your social media outlets to drive traffic to your blogger. Your blogger as well as your storify had an easy to read layout and the content was well done. You used examples to validate a lot of the points you made in your storify.

    Areas to Improve to include:
    1. What elements do you feel led to the success of your blogger?
    2. If you had a chance to do things differently to integrate your social media platforms, what would they be?
    3. Highlight areas that you feel were successful and not so successful. Areas that were not successful how would you improve them?

    Overall Bobbi Sue, Great Job

    Thanks
    Saurav

These are great suggestions. I really appreciate your feedback. I'll be sure to incorporate these suggestions for my final paper.

Good luck with the rest of the semester.

  3. Hi Bobbi Sue,

Great job on your Storify. I love the context you provided in the background about how many social media accounts you have to monitor on a daily basis. I really helps to show why you are in this course and program and that it will certainly help moving forward.

My recommendation for improvement would be to include a chronological walk through of each of your blog posts. Currently I only see comments and Storify examples from your Week 4 post. That way you can comment on what added to your success or detracted from your success through each week.

Great start and good luck on the final paper!

  4. Hi Meagan. Thanks for reviewing my Storify. You are right. I really only reviewed the materials from my fourth week because it was my most successful. But, I could certainly show how far my blog has come by comparing the week's prior. Thanks for the tip!

  5. Hi Bobbi Sue,

It looks like your off to a solid start in relation to your overall draft for this week, nice job! I like that you used feed back from your classmates to improve the overall look of your blog, and also by adding key search words and links to your blogs from your micro blog sites. You said you applied this in week 4, and based on your analysis, week 4 seems to have been your most successful week in regard to traffic and page views, so it worked!!!

I like that you used a lot of storify media and screen shots to help illustrate your social experience. As for its placement throughout your draft, I feel you have a achieved a well balanced look. For some reason though, the top portion of your paper seems blocky or wordy to me. I feel like your draft really gains momentum after your "Activities" portion. This might be something that can't be avoided, or it could just be me, because I do feel your project is for the most part well balanced. But it might be something you want to go back and take a look at, and play around with, and maybe add additional media or screen shots to break that above section up a little bit.

I also agree with what Meagan said in regard to the focus you put on week 4 stats. I would like to see some of the activity from your earlier weeks, so that you can better illustrate how your blog improved based on the changes you made to it.

    Overall, it looks great!

  6. Hi Bobbi Sue,

You have done a great job of corelating your Storify to concepts and theories from our readings in this course. That scholory application adds great substance to your Storify in addition to your personal experiences.

I would suggest elaborating on your activities section. You had extremely successful blog posts which engaged great discussions every week. Being able to address that success by expanding on your social platform integration, content management and overall strategy will 'beef up' that portion of your paper. Imagine as if the reader was not in this course and didn't know what tactics or requirements needed to be filled each week. Keeping that in mind, you might be able to explain why you posted when you did, who was audience, how did you implement changes to your strategy and what did you keep in place when your strategy worked well.

    Nice job!

  7. Bobbi Sue,

You did a great job of introducing the topic in the beginning. I also really liked how you laid out the plans section. The Navy handbook quote summed up what you were trying to say really well. You also defined your strategy well and made it very clear what you were trying to accomplish with your blog. Bringing up the fact that your goal was to facilitate interaction was good because I feel that has been the point of the course. Ensuring that we can discuss all the topics we study has been a key point in this course.

You made a great use of screen shots and photos when referring to your tweets and week to week analysis. I liked that you wrote out the analysis as a paragraph. However it may have been easier to follow to see it in almost a bullet form with each week separated. That would mostly depend on what you feel is easier to read when looking through that section. Overall great job and I really liked how you posted relevant pictures throughout to break up the text.

    Great Post!

    1. Thanks, Ian. You bring up a good point about making it more reader-friendly but adding some bullets. I'll keep this in mind as I make my finals edits! Thanks again!

  8. Hey Bobbie Sue,

Your storify paper looks great. After reading yours I have a better understanding of the feedback you left on my blog in regards to adding more storify media. I would have to disagree with Dan's statement about the beginning being blocky. I think the media you included balanced it out well. I'm not sure if you plan on copy and pasting this into your storify paper or not but if so there are misspellings in the third paragraph of the Analysis section that you'll want to correct first. I would also recommend adding how what you've learned will change how you operate on the social media accounts that you maintain personally and professionally that you mentioned in your introduction.

  9. Bobbi Sue,

I think you're off to a great start with your storify paper. The whole paper has a nice flow to and it really helps that you included some sources to supplement your experience with social media throughout the class. Here are a few things I came up with that you could look at once you start finalizing your paper.

    1. Sources: I'm sure we'll cover how to properly do it in the "storify" form, but make sure to remember to include those somehow in the end of the digital paper.
    2. It may be helpful to map out some of your specific numbers you were looking for in the activities section. I may have missed it in a different section, so disregard this if I did.

Overall, I think you have a really good paper so far and with a few minor changes and additions it will be looking great!

  10. Bobbi Sue,

Great job with your Storify paper. You did an excellent job incorporating the readings we have had throughout the course into your paper. I definitely will be using your paper to help better my own. The use of screen shots and images from your activity throughout the course are used well and do not take over the entire paper.

I agree with Ian that adding bullets into your analysis section or separating them by the weekly posts will help organize and create a flow throughout the class experience.

    Overall great job,
    Courtney

  11. Bobbi Sue,

I found it really interesting that you manage and contribute to so many different social media accounts between personal use and work. Are these the same types of accounts we have used for this course or are their others you would recommend for people to familiarize themselves with? You did a great job of including links to posts in order to make your point about providing interesting content to drive people to your blog. You also brought up that you received views from overseas as well as from the United States. What do you think most contributed to interest from those viewers overseas?

    Great Post!
